Brittany Tilley, Clinical Counseling Intern

Brittany Tilley is in her final year of graduate school at Liberty University, where she is completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University in 2021.

With over 7 years of experience in the medical field, Brittany has developed a holistic approach to mental health, focusing on the integration of body, mind, and spirit. She has worked with children (ages 4+), adolescents, adults, and older adults, addressing a wide range of issues, including ADHD, ODD, ASD, eating disorders/body dysmorphia, self-harm, anxiety, depression, life transitions (e.g., college, divorce, aging), military families, and LGBTQ+ concerns.

Brittany primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches, believing that thought patterns can change by cultivating a safe, collaborative space. While she values the power of these approaches, she also integrates eclectic counseling techniques to meet the diverse needs of each client.

Brittany recently returned to her hometown in Calvert County with her husband, 4-year-old son, two dogs, and two cats after living in South Carolina and Virginia while her husband served in the military. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, snuggling with her pets, playing lacrosse, reading, hiking, traveling, and listening to music and podcasts.
