Michelle is a compassionate and dedicated therapist intern currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, with an expected graduation date of December 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where she developed a strong understanding of the psychological and social factors that influence human behavior. Michelle also earned an Associate’s degree in Psychology, which sparked her deep passion for mental health and helping individuals navigate life’s challenges.

Michelle has a particular passion for working with couples and families, believing that the nuclear family is the backbone of society. She is dedicated to fostering healthy, positive relationships and helping families develop effective communication and problem-solving skills. While she loves working with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life, she is especially committed to supporting families and couples in creating strong, resilient bonds.

As a therapist, Michelle draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy, to meet the unique needs of each client. She provides a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to explore their emotions, set goals, and work toward healing.

Although originally from Baltimore, Michelle has spent the majority of her life in the Annapolis area and has a deep connection to her community. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and finds joy in attending live music performances. These hobbies help her stay grounded and maintain a healthy work-life balance, which ultimately fuels her passion for helping others.
